Is it safe and convenient to order pots online?
Ordering online will save you a trip to our showroom and we’ll organise the delivery for you, potentially even for free depending on your location. Why go through all the hassle of renting a trailer or a ute, when you can get your beautiful new pots dropped at your front door! We take great care in wrapping and packaging our pots so they get to you in the best condition.
Is there somewhere I can go to view the product before purchasing?
Yes! We have a lovely showroom located on the northern beaches of Sydney as well as many stockists around the country. See the list here – https://www.thebalconygarden.com.au/stockists/
Do you sell plants as well?
No. We are a specialist pot supplier. For sourcing of plants see your landscaper, landscape designer or nursery.
What’s the return policy?
While we will try our best to make changes to any order, orders cannot be changed once they have been picked and/or packed. We do not offer returns for a change of mind. Please choose wisely.
How will my pots be shipped? Do I need to be at home to catch the delivery?
We use a hand selected group of trusted couriers. The pots are picked up from our Sydney warehouse and delivered to your door. It is preferable that you are home, however alternatively you can request the pots be left at your home without a signature.
How are the pots packaged for delivery?
We try our hardest to fit pots inside one another and stuff rubber protection foam between the pots. We also wrap the pots in a special shock protection foam.
Can I track my order?
The best way to track your order is to get in contact with our showroom.
I want to send a pot as a gift. Do you include an invoice on the shipment?
How lovely and generous! Relax – the recipient will not receive any invoice as our invoices are emailed to the purchaser’s email account.
What happens if my pots arrive damaged?
Whilst we always package our pots to ensure they arrive in the best condition, sometimes accidents do happen between our warehouse and your home. If your pots arrive damaged, you need to let us know within 24 hours of receiving the order. We will happily either provide a full refund or replace the damaged pot.
How soon will I receive my pots?
We will contact you within 12 hours to arrange delivery and we dispatch Tuesdays & Thursdays.

I’m confused about which size is best for my space, do you have any advice?
We always say “bigger is better” with pots. There’s nothing worse than seeing a tiny pot with a huge plant bursting out the top. Large oversized pots create a statement and will make an area feel more spacious. If you’re unsure give us a call, we’d love to chat!
Will it look ok if I mix and match pots with different styles and materials?
Absolutely!! Creating ‘clusters’ or groups of pots made up of different styles and finishes is a create way to create interest and depth to any space. We’ve specifically chosen our full collection of pots and planters to complement one another.
The pot I want is out of stock! Can I back order? How long will it take to get more in?
We typically have more stock arriving every month. So you never have to wait too long. Give us a call or shoot us an email if you’d like to place an order in advance. If you don’t want to wait, we can always recommend a suitable substitute.
